Most clubs hold annual elections and try to have all club members rotate through the various officer positions. It is important to the success of your club that everyone be involved in making sure the operations of the club run smoothly.

None of the officer positions should be too cumbersome. If everyone takes their turn at them, everyone will be more engaged with the success of the club and nobody will end up feeling put upon.
