Your 2018 investment club tax forms need to be filed by March 15, 2018. You won't be able to complete them until you get your 1099 forms in February but you can get most of the work done now. The first step in preparing correct taxes is auditing your club records. Correct bivio records are needed to produce correct tax filings. Once you've done an audit and verified that, your tax preparation will go very quickly in February. Join us for audit party weekend, January 12 and 13, 2019. It's the perfect time to do your investment club audit. You'll be inside and warm. It's a great snow day activity! We're doing a webinar on January 12 at 2PM Eastern time where we'll show you how. We'll be around all weekend to help you resolve any issues you find. Many club members have told us they find the audit process very enjoyable. You shouldn't have any problem finding enough helpers, especially if you plan a party to celebrate when you are done. So put it on the schedule, get this important annual task accomplished and have some fun to boot! Don't forget that everyone who is a member of an investment club is responsible for making sure that correct taxes are filed. It's online, it's free and everyone is invited but space is limited.
