Welcome Ira Smilovitz |

We are pleased to announce that, effective December 10, Ira Smilovitz has joined the bivio support team. Ira is well known in the investment club community for his tireless volunteer support of investment clubs both online and in presentations at many live events. Although trained as a chemist (B.S., Yale) and chemical engineer (M.Eng., Steven's Institute of Techology), he has been a professional tax preparer, bookkeeper, and financial coach for over 25 years. He contributes regularly to online discussion groups for investors and tax preparers and he received the Kenfield-Burris Online Service Award from BetterInvesting in 2005. Ira is a founding member and treasurer of a bivio investment club, Lakshmi Investments, LLC, and a bivio user since its inception. He is also a director of BetterInvesting's New Jersey chapter and a past director of InvestEd, Inc. When not online, you'll probably find him at a live music venue.
